America has a good educational system. Many generations of children have benefited from the public education we provide. But the world is changing, the expectations of our graduates are rising.
To address these chalenges we need to continue to improve public education. We need to move from an adequate educational system dependent on the extraordinary efforts of individuals toward an extraordinary educational system that maximizes the efforts of ordinary people, aligned and integrated toward a shared vision in order to maximize the educational development of each student.
To do this we need to provide rigor and relevance for each student and create a culture that fosters positive relationships.
